Dango suffered an exploit, but a white hat returned $1.9M. Here’s everything else that happened from April 13–20 — and where there’s still time to participate.
Major Events of the Week
This week, several standout projects were back in the spotlight, each with important developments of their own.
Dango started last week with bad news — but ended on a positive note. On April 14, it was revealed that $1.9M had been drained: part was swapped into ETH, while the rest was frozen. Fortunately, the story took a relatively positive turn: the white hat hacker who took the funds later returned them in exchange for a bounty. Users were ultimately not affected.
Ink (#25) was also one of the most notable projects this week. On April 13, the team distributed its first points as part of the project’s inaugural points drop. A total of 45% of the token supply has already been reserved for the airdrop, while TGE is expected between July and September 2026. It’s also worth noting that activity on Kraken Pro counts as well, signaling a broad ecosystem-wide campaign.
Meanwhile, Polymarket continues its $5M liquidity incentive program. It’s tied to limit orders in sports and esports markets, with daily rewards running through the end of April. If you’ve got orders placed and are providing liquidity, you can earn rewards along the way.
Claims & Distributions
OpenGradient ($OPG) opened airdrop registration on April 15, while the claim goes live on April 21 and remains open until April 28. The project has a total supply of 1 billion tokens, with 4% allocated to the airdrop and 100% unlocked at TGE. Coinbase has also added OPG to its listing roadmap, further boosting attention around the project. Tokenomics are substantial as well: 40% goes to the ecosystem, 15% to the foundation, and 6% to liquidity.
Genius ($GENIUS) opened claims on April 15. A total of 70M GENIUS has been allocated — 7% of the 1B total supply — with FDV estimated at around $500M. Participants have two options: claim immediately while burning 70%, or lock tokens for one year to receive the full amount. At the same time, Binance Alpha is running a $200K trading competition through April 30.
Registration for Solstice Season 1 closes on April 20. Participation requires a 0.075 SOL deposit, with 8.5% of the $SLX supply reserved for the pool. Final deadline is April 21, so there’s very little time left.
Plume Network has had pre-registration open for Nest PNP S1 since April 8, with the deadline set for April 21–22. This is a mandatory step before claiming, so without it, access to the distribution won’t open.
Product Updates
Rabby Wallet introduced a useful dust conversion feature. Users can now collect small leftover balances across multiple chains and convert them into more useful assets. It’s especially convenient for anyone who has accumulated micro balances across dozens of wallets and networks.
Points Programs & Campaigns
Ostium, together with Layer3, launched a trading competition with a 50K points reward pool. Rewards are based on trading volume, deposits, streaks, and multi-asset trading. The campaign runs until May 14, so there’s still time to join.
Base app also launched an attractive referral program. Referrers earn 25% of the invitee’s fees, while invitees receive a 10% fee discount. There is a cap of $100K monthly volume per referred user.
Glider recently added Arbitrum and strengthened its rewards mechanics. Users now earn 2x points for investing, and deposits of at least $150 also unlock a 25% APR boost on Base for 30 days.
Soneium introduced a badge on OpenSea. If you earned 80+ points in Season 8, you can mint the OpenSea badge and lock in proof of participation.
Jupiter launched a card campaign. The concept is simple: trade $2K in PreStocks and receive a random reward card worth anywhere from $1 to $50K in $JUPUSD.
T-Rex is also running activity through Social Badges. Connect Facebook, Reddit, and TikTok, and your engagement is converted into PoE rewards.
Finally, Pudgy Penguins continue expanding into useful tools. Their PenguBot on Telegram now offers AI trading, an integrated wallet, and token swaps. Future rewards are also very possible here, so it’s a project worth keeping on your radar.
