This Cookies Policy explains how Syndicate (the “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) uses Cookies and similar technologies on the Site and, where applicable, within the App. It sets out what types of Cookies and similar technologies are used, for what purposes, and how Users (“you”, “your”) can manage their preferences.
The Company uses Cookies and similar technologies to ensure the technical functionality and security of the Site and the Services, improve User experience, analyse traffic and usage, and, where applicable, enable certain features. Some Cookies and similar technologies are strictly necessary for the operation of the Site and the Services, while others are optional and require your Consent where required by applicable law.
By using the Site after you have been presented with the Cookie banner or have adjusted your preferences, you acknowledge the use of Cookies as described in this Policy, unless you have disabled them via the Site’s Cookie settings and/or your browser settings, where applicable.

1.2. Services means the Company’s informational and tracking services provided to the User through the App and/or the Site, including access to features such as calendars, event tracking, analytics, progress tracking, and user-generated content functionality, as available from time to time.

1.4. Site means the Company’s website located at: https://sndct.app/ (including any subdomains and related pages).
1.5. App means the Company’s mobile application “Syndicate” (sndct.app) made available for download and use on supported mobile devices (as updated from time to time).
1.6. Account means the User’s registered profile within the Services created by the User during registration, which is associated with the User’s login credentials (for example, email) and may include profile settings, preferences, and activity history.
1.7. User is an individual or legal entity to whom the Company provides Services.
1.8. Cookies means small text files and similar technologies (including SDK identifiers and tags) that are stored on your device or accessed by your browser when you visit the Site or use the Services, and that enable the Site/Services to recognize your device, remember your preferences, maintain sessions, support security features, and collect usage and analytics information.
2. General
2.1. The Site may use Cookies and similar technologies to ensure its proper functioning, maintain security, store User preferences, enable secure authentication, analyse traffic and usage, and improve User experience. Cookies are small text files and similar technologies (including SDK identifiers and tags) that may be stored on your device or accessed by your browser when you visit the Site or use the Services.
3. Web Analytics
3.1. The Site may use web analytics tools to analyse aggregated usage data in order to understand how Users interact with the Site and to improve its functionality, performance, and security. Such analytics data may include, for example, the number of visits and unique Users, pages viewed and navigation paths, technical information about the User’s browser or device (such as operating system, screen resolution, and language settings), approximate location derived from IP address, and technical performance or error data.
3.2. The Site may use Google Analytics for these purposes.
3.3. Analytics Cookies and similar tracking technologies are used only with the User’s prior Consent where required by applicable law. The User may withdraw or change Consent at any time via the Cookie banner/settings and, where available, through browser controls.
3.4. The data generated by web analytics services may be processed by third-party providers and may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside the User’s country of residence. Where required by applicable law, the Company applies appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including standard contractual clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms.

4. Cookies We Use
4.1. The Site may use the following categories of Cookies and similar technologies:
4.1.1. Essential Cookies: purpose required for the Site’s core functionality, security, and authentication. Essential Cookies cannot be disabled without affecting the operation of the Site. Retention session-based or for a limited technical period.
4.1.2. Analytics Cookies: purpose to analyse aggregated usage of the Site and improve functionality, performance, and security. Analytics Cookies are non-essential and are used only with the User’s prior Consent where required by applicable law. The User can withdraw Consent at any time via the Cookie banner/settings. Retention up to 2 (two) years, depending on the provider settings.
4.1.3. Marketing Cookies: purpose to measure the effectiveness of marketing and referral activities (including attribution and campaign performance) where such features are used. Marketing Cookies are non-essential and are used only with the User’s prior Consent where required by applicable law. The User can withdraw Consent at any time via the Cookie banner/settings. Retention up to 13 (thirteen) months, depending on the provider settings.
5. Third-Party
Cookies
5.1. The Company may use trusted Third Party services that may set their own Cookies and/or use similar technologies in connection with the Services, including:
5.1.1. Firebase (Google): services authentication, analytics, performance monitoring, cloud messaging; data collected user authentication tokens, analytics identifiers, device information.
5.1.2. Crashlytics (Google): services crash reporting and diagnostics; data collected crash reports, device state data, error logs.
5.1.3. AppsFlyer: services mobile attribution and analytics; data collected install attribution, in-app events, referral tracking, campaign data, device identifiers.
5.2. Each such Third Party processes data in accordance with its own privacy documentation.
6. Managing Cookies
6.1. In-App Controls: the User can manage certain Cookie and privacy preferences within the App via Settings > Privacy > Cookies. The User may enable or disable: Analytics cookies; Marketing cookies; Push notifications. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without affecting App functionality.
6.2. Device-Level Controls: the User may also manage device-level tracking controls: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
6.3. Reset Advertising ID: the User may reset the advertising identifier on their device: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Reset Advertising Identifier. Android Settings > Privacy > Ads > Reset advertising ID.
6.4. Impact of Disabling Cookies: disabling optional Cookies may not prevent the App from functioning and the User’s Account may remain active; however, personalization may be limited, referral tracking may be disabled, and analytics used for improvements may be limited.
7. Cookie
Retention
7.1. The Company retains Cookies and similar technologies only for as long as necessary to achieve their purposes and in accordance with the settings available to the User.
7.2. Essential Cookies: stored for the duration of the session or for a limited technical period (for example, up to 1 (one) year), as required for security, authentication, and core functionality.
7.3. Analytics Cookies: stored for a limited period to support aggregated analytics and service improvement (for example, up to 2 (two) years from the User’s last activity), depending on the analytics configuration.
7.4. Marketing Cookies: stored for a limited period to measure marketing effectiveness and referral attribution where such features are used (for example, up to 13 (thirteen) months from the User’s last activity), depending on the configuration.
7.5. The User can clear Cookies in the browser via browser settings. For the App, the User can reset local identifiers by deleting the App data and/or reinstalling the App, subject to the device and operating system capabilities.

8.1. The Services are intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.
