An important Base network update is indirectly bringing the token launch closer, Circle published the $ARC whitepaper following an additional investment round with major funds, and Polymarket is moving toward an IPO.

Infrastructure & Investments

On May 11, Circle published the $ARC token whitepaper and revealed details of the private presale: $222M was raised at a $3B FDV valuation. The round included a16z crypto, BlackRock, Apollo, and ICE. Token allocation is split as follows: 60% goes to the ecosystem, while 25% remains with Circle. The TGE date has not yet been announced, but the publication of the whitepaper and the caliber of investors clearly signal that the project is seriously preparing for launch.

Base rolled out the Azul upgrade on testnet. For the project, this is a major step toward infrastructure independence — the network is gradually moving toward deeper decentralization. Many are also linking this update to preparations for a potential token launch.

Token Events & Claims

The claim timer for Aster ($ASTER) Stage 6 is now live. The conditions remain the same as in previous stages: claim 50% immediately or wait and receive 100% with vesting until the next unlock date.

The KAIO claim portal is open from May 8 through June 5, 12:00 PM EDT. Tokens are available to Mission Board participants, early Telegram community members, and Kaito Yappers. Any unclaimed tokens after the deadline will return to the reserve pool.

Project Rumors

There have been two major signals around $POLY over the past few days. On May 13, an IPO page for Polymarket appeared on TradingView with a listed date of December 31, and on May 15, screenshots of an alleged — though still unconfirmed — claim page began circulating across channels. On PredictFun, the probability of a token drop this year increased from 44% to 54%. No official dates have been announced yet, but it’s definitely one to keep on your watchlist.

Ambassador Programs

PrismaX (AI, backed by a16z) opened the first selection round for regional ambassadors. To apply, users must post the launch quote on X and receive at least three replies, then complete the application form. The deadline for the first round is May 24, 11:59 PM EDT, after which applications will move to a rolling basis.

Base has also opened ambassador applications across three tracks simultaneously: Community Ambassadors, DevRel Ambassadors, and Based Advocates.

Activities & Farming

Soneium Score Season 9 is coming to a close — if you earned 80+ points, you need to mint the SBT badge. Mint access is opening in stages: first for users with 84–100 points, followed by the 80–83 range. Season 10 (“Level Up”) is already underway, so keep farming toward the 80+ target.

A new Grass epoch has started. A native wallet is on the way, and Season 2 distribution plus final allocation criteria will be handled through it. During May and June, the team will also be filtering out bots and sybil accounts.

A new feature is now available in the Pacifica Vaults testnet: users can create strategic vaults (shared pools) or join existing ones and track yield performance on their deposits. Loyal users currently receive a 3x points boost.

MegaETH Terminal launched Wave 4 with new applications including Beefy, SectorOne, Canonic, Cap, and others. The full list is available on the Terminal homepage.

A new reward has appeared in MetaMask: a limited-edition Claynosaurz Series 1 blind box along with an exclusive SBT. It’s available only through MetaMask Mobile — open the app, go to the Rewards section or visit metamask.io/rewards to claim it.

Open beta testing for Youmio Genesis Season ends on May 21. The team is considering bonus rewards for the most active participants.

An NFT collection for early ecosystem participants has appeared on OpenSea from dTelecom. It’s a useful on-chain marker that could potentially matter in future retroactive distributions.

Airdrop Registrations & Giveaways

Registration for Plume Network Season 2 remains open until May 27. To participate, users need at least 10,000 PlumePoints and may also need to complete KYC verification.

WalletConnect launched an unusual campaign: users can receive 1,000 $WCT for taking a photo with a POS terminal. You can find one in almost any café or store — the key requirement is that it must be from one of the supported providers such as Ingenico, Worldline, SumUp, and others. A detailed guide is available, and you’ll need to fill out the application form.

Registration for the Cetria airdrop ended on May 17, and final allocations will soon be available for checking on citrea.xyz/airdrop.
