The Syndicate team’s experts gathered the hottest news of the week for you — only what really matters. Keep an eye on the projects, follow us on social media, and don’t miss new claims, TGEs, listings, and seasonal activities. In this digest, we collected only the most useful updates so you don’t have to spend time monitoring everything manually.
TGE of the Week: Nexus Takes the Stage
The week’s main event was the launch of $NEX by Nexus: the project went mainnet, and along with that, the token immediately got support from major platforms. On May 21, Coinbase launched full NEX-USD spot trading. So for the team, this was the first truly liquid moment, when network launch, listings, and staking all aligned at one point.
Polymarket: Three Updates in One Week
Polymarket also had a busy week. First, the project announced a partnership with Nasdaq Private Market and launched markets on private companies before IPO — a separate section is already available in the product. Then the team rolled out the Taker Rebate Program with daily payouts in pUSD, where rewards depend on 30-day volume and grow across crypto markets. And on top of that, William LeGate reminded everyone that in BIO you can now attach an X profile, and Sponsor Market Rewards are active again — so in terms of news flow, Polymarket is clearly sharing the lead with Nexus.
Rounds and Capital
The biggest round of the week was Variational. The project closed a $50M Series A led by Dragonfly, bringing total funding to $61.8M. The team is building infrastructure that connects TradFi liquidity with on-chain derivatives, and in that context it looks especially strong: just over the last month, the project processed around $16.5B in trading volume. There were no other rounds of comparable scale this week, so market attention again shifted to the product and real metrics.
Testnets and Product Updates
Seismic opened a public devnet: the faucet is already live, smart contracts can be deployed, and Discord activity converts into the Magnitude role. For people who regularly farm early networks, this is a pretty straightforward setup: take test tokens, deploy a contract, and lock in activity in the community.
Axis on Base launched Beta Phase 1 in the Physical AI direction. Users are offered robot task simulations, and points and badges are awarded for completing them. The niche is narrow, but the idea fits well into the broader trend around robotics and AI infrastructure.
Grass, meanwhile, reported cleaning out bots and stabilizing the network, shifting the focus toward real profiles and higher-quality activity. And Arc House separately warned that mass event registrations without actual participation and spam can lead to bans, so activity is now being treated much more strictly.
MegaETH Terminal is closing. After analyzing the data, the team decided to end the season early and shut down the Terminal program. The snapshot has already been taken, points for week three have been credited, and participants will receive one more distribution this week. Those who meet the criteria will also receive a share of the USDM pool in proportion to their points, and wallet linking will become available directly in Terminal during the week.
Quests and New Activities
Soneium launched Bingo Rush — daily task cards — and the update was already highlighted in DropDaily on May 22. OpenSea, meanwhile, is offering 0% trading fees on token trading — the program runs for about 7 more days. Abstract opened Flash Badge: NFT Collector: holders of NFTs from collections with volume above 25 ETH can claim it, and the claim window will close in about two days.
Pudgy Penguins has another new activity: completing the Treehouse Tumble Course inside Pudgy World earns NFTs. Renaissance is not standing still either and has added new profile badges, so active users once again have extra reasons to engage with the ecosystem.
Printr updated its points system. The first season ended on May 1, and the accumulated points will later be converted into PRINT at TGE. Right now, extra points can only be earned through limited-time activities, such as staking OOO, and all those points will be added to the season-one points total. The checker is expected to go live soon.
